Bar Fights 12/11/2011 Featuring The Box Arena

This coming Sunday is going to be full of excitment for The Fighting Game Community! Creative, Complexity, and CrossCounter.tv are presenting Bar Fights featuring many groups and companies including that of The Box Arena. We will be bringing 3 fighters; Viscant and Dios X representing us for UMVC and Steinmania representing us for SSF4:AE.

The event is free so if you can make it out to the Hunter Street Studio, be there by 5PM.

If you are unable to attend the event in person, watch the streams! Yes, I did say streams. Team Sp00ky will be streaming the main event and The Box Arena will run the secondary stream featuring Street Fighter Cross Tekken!

I suggest being there in person; Bar Fights are always Hype.

Box Arena Tuesday Sessions Closed till next year

Box Arena Tuesday Sessions will be closed till further notice. Everyone have a wonderful Holiday Season till we return!

"The League" will start in December date has not been officially confirmed with the venue but will most likely be the same date.

We might have a brand new event this December for Black Ops. So look forward to that!

The Box Arena would like to present: Triumph -  3 Days, 3 Games, 3 Awesome events. With gaming powerhouses Casual Cartel and SDTEKKEN based locally in San Diego,  MVC2 and Tekken 6 are excellent choices to add to our gaming roster.

OCTOBER 22, 2010 - MARVEL VS CAPCOM 2 SINGLES TOURNAMENT

OCTOBER 23, 2010 - SUPER STREET FIGHTER 4 3V3 TOURNAMENT

OCTOBER 24, 2010 - TEKKEN 6 3V3 TOURNAMENT

Cost:
$15 Per Person

Cost Breakdown:
$5 goes to a one time tournament fee for all 3 days
$10 goes to prize pool for this day

Payout:
70% 30% 1st  2nd

Tournament Structure:
-Double Elimination
-3v3
-Pokemon format
-3/5 rounds 1 game (winner stays on TV)
-Grand Finals: 2/3 games

-Pausing is dealt with on an individual basis and can result in disqualification
-Teams can have multiples of the same character
-YOU MUST KEEP THE SAME CHARACTER FOR THE ENTIRE DAY
-Winning team reports their win
-5 PS3 setups including 1 livestreamed main stage with commentary and
-HD recording
-BRING YOUR OWN STICK
PAD PLAYERS WELCOME AND ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE BUT PLEASE
DISCONNECT CONTROLLERS RESPONSIBLY
